Generator

Power Up! Please make sure that you have adequate power for your rental. Our blowers require obut 10 amps (1000 watts) each. Most home circuits are 15 amp. This is why we recommend that there be a separate circuit for each blower. When we attempt to put multiple blowers we typically trip breakers.

We will bring extension cords, so we can run power up to 100 feet. Beyond that you will need to have a generator. If you think you will need a generator, please plan in advance to have the generators there when we arrive. We have several generators available to rent, if needed. If sufficient power is not available when our crew arrives, they may have to rechedule your delivery, which would incur a $50 redelivery fee.

It is generally recommended that you run generators at about half of what they are rated. Thus a 2500 watt generator will typically power just one blower. We have found that if you push a generator too hard the built in breakers generally trip, cutting all power. Our generators produce 8000 watts, allowing you to power up to three blowers at one time.
